EP.198/ Endo Belly Challenge Q&A Answers

Why Does My Endo Belly and Pain Get Worse at Night? Can I Treat Endometriomas Without Surgery? ... And more!

LISTEN NOW

This episode is a special episode sharing a recording from a Q&A with participants from my recent Endo Belly Challenge. Over 150 people took part in the 4 week free challenge, and each week, they received an email from me with some education on the endo belly and what causes it and how to treat it, and then a related action step to help them minimise symptoms and begin treating the root causes.

At the end of the challenge, to celebrate and wrap up, I held a private Q&A for anyone who wanted to ask questions about their experience with the challenge, their own endo belly issues or just about endometriosis itself.

Today I am sharing some of these questions and my answers! I have blanked out and removed names where necessary.

These questions are detailed and very unique to each person, but I really felt that some of them could be relevant or interesting to you all! Here’s a brief summary of the questions:

  • Why does my endo belly and pain get worse at night and in the morning when I wake up?

  • If I’m on hormonal treatment, does it change what type of natural and holistic treatment I use? Will it be less effective?

  • I had a full hysterectomy and since, my endo belly has gotten so much worse. The surgeon says they got all the endo and everything was fully excised, could it still be SIBO or endo belly? DISCLAIMER: We didn’t discuss it in this call because the surgery was reportedly very successful and the surgeon was able to excise all the endo, but it is still possible for endometriosis to grow after a full hysterectomy. A hysterectomy is not a cure for endometriosis.

  • If I eat an anti-inflammatory diet, will it shrink my endo?

  • How do I treat SIBO?

  • How do I prepare for surgery and get the best results from it? Any pre or post-op tips?

  • What are the pros and cons of surgery?

  • Can you treat endometriomas without surgery?

DISCLAIMER: Please remember that everyone’s experience of endometriosis is unique, and the decision to have or not have surgery should be made in partnership with your surgeon and medical team. The information I am sharing in this episode is just for informational purposes.

I hope you find this episode useful!
